Founder/Chair and Managing Director – Kinsey Sears

The PBSL was founded by Tom Sears who has a wealth of experience holding senior roles in sports bodies internationally and who in 2017 founded the sports executive search specialists Kinsey Sears based in London. Tom’s experience spans over four decades in the sports industry holding senior level positions with National Governing Bodies, provincial associations, professional clubs and publicly funded bodies.

He has held Chief Executive and senior commercial roles in the UK, Australasia, Africa and Europe and his international experience has enabled him to develop an extensive network of contacts across the industry and supporting sectors.

His company Kinsey Sears provides executive search services Board members, senior executives and high-performance professionals to clients including global federations, national governing bodies, leading professional clubs and international venues.

In establishing the PBSL we are working to open up the world of sport by providing a source for more information, personal experiences and opportunities, new perspectives and diverse insights. In doing this we will be improving leadership and governance in the sports industry for the wider benefit of society, actively promoting diversity in all its forms and supporting individuals in the sector to develop professionally and safeguard their wellbeing.

There has been a void in the sector and the PBSL will change that, support people and organisations and make a tangible, positive difference.
